This report was conducted for the period 1st June to 30th June 2017, where our tool scanned the internet from news websites to social networks in Mauritius. Real time information for instance brand mentions, complaints and concerns were picked up to derive business value in complex, expressive, and sometimes-confusing human language.
The report was done for the Banking industry whereby we have monitored four brands namely: Mauritius Commercial Bank, State Bank of Mauritius, Barclays Bank and Afrasia Bank on a real time basis.
The analysis is broken into Part A which details SoV, Daily Activity and Popular Sources for the four monitored brands and Part B which focus on the three most popular brands of the Banking industry.
Part A – Industry Analysis
Share of voice
As depicted by the doughnut, Mauritius Commercial Bank (250 mentions)has led the race on the online platform followed by Barclays Bank(88 mentions) and State Bank of Mauritius (63mentions).
The highest activity for the monitored brands of the Banking sector was mostly recorded from 6PM to 12AMon Thursdays (104 mentions) followed by 12PM to 6PM on Fridays (87 mentions) and6AM to 12PM on Saturdays (72 mentions).
During the period under review, the highest number of mentions picked up for the monitored brands were from News (133 mentions) followed by Facebook (127mentions) and Twitter (88 mentions).
Part B – Brand Analysis
Mauritius Commercial Bank
As depicted by the line chart, the highest volume of daily mentions picked up for Mauritius Commercial Bank was 34 followed by 29and 22on 1st, 2ndand 17thof June respectively.
As illustrated by the column chart, the highest daily activity for Mauritius Commercial Bank was mostly from 6PM to 12AM on Thursdays (64 mentions) followed by 12PM to 6PM on Fridays(62mentions) and 6AM to 12PM on Saturdays (40 mentions).
